NEW COVID-19 GUIDELINES/PROTOCOLS

(Our COVID-19 Policy will be subject to change without notice)

Our OFFICIAL Opening date is Monday May 11th, 2020. We are open for business and will be taking Clients by appointments only. Walk-in Clients will have to go through our Sanitation Station before entering the building to receive services if a Service Provider is available.

Please help us in following Social Distancing and practicing cleanliness and sanitation while services are being performed at Altered Images.

*When you arrive, please stay in your car. Send us a text to 281-482-4162 and you will receive a reply letting you know when your service provider is ready.

*OUR WAITING ROOM IS LIMITED TO 2 GUESTS AT A TIME. LIMITED OUTSIDE SEATING IS AVAILABLE FOR CLIENTS ONLY.

*NO children or friends of our clients will be allowed inside unless they have an appointment and have been designated to come in for that appointment,

*We will be implementing temperature checks with a touchless thermometer to each employee AND clients that enter the building. Anyone having a temperature over 100.4*F will be sent home immediately and will not be able to return until they have no fever. (CDC regulated fever temperature for the State of Texas)

*ALL Clients/Staff must wear masks during the entire appointment. You may purchase a disposable mask from us for $1.00 if needed.

*We are NOW serving single-served snacks and beverages will also be available in disposable cups. Feel free to bring your beverage if this is more comfortable. For any and all questions, please feel free to call us.

Please be patient with our staff and follow all of our COVID-19 Protocols. We love all of you and we cant wait to see you in!

Returns/Refunds

All gift card sales are final.

Retail items can only be refunded if unused, in its original packaging, and presented with a receipt within 7 days of purchase. Retail Refunds will be issued in Store credit only. Boutique items are final sale and will not be refunded. Exact dollar amount Exchanges are acceptable in certain circumstances.

EX: incorrect sizing, defective products, etc.

Spa Premier Memberships

Memberships have for a full year activation life. Your membership may be gifted twice within the 12 month period. No rollovers if you have skipped or missed a month.

If you cancel within your 12 months of your Membership a $50 cancellation fee will be applied.

Pets

Although we love our fur babies, we cannot have them in the salon as stated by Texas Law.

Cancellations/No shows

No/Show, 24 Hour Cancellation policy:

We understand that sometimes you need to change your schedule. We kindly ask that you give us a 24-hour notice if you must cancel an appointment. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will have a “2 time-excuse”. A third “NO-SHOW, SAME DAY CANCELLATION” will be put on a walk-in basis only.*

*a $25 fee will be applied upon rebooking a future appointment

extensive services

Due to scheduled time permitted, we ask that you give us a 48-72 hour notice. These times are set aside especially for you to provide the best service possible. When cancelling an appointment you must speak directly with the receptionist. Cancellations will not be honored if left on our answering machine. Appointments that are missed or cancelled within 48-72 hours of scheduled appointment will result in the forfeit of your deposit.*

*Any extensive services of 200.00 or more will require a deposit.

Example of Extensive Services: Brazilian Blowouts, Extensions, Dermaplaning, Microblading/Microneedling, Hydra Facial... etc.

Children

We kindly request ONLY those receiving services be present in the service areas. Older children, (12+) capable of sitting quietly and unsupervised, may wait in the provided seating area. While this policy helps ensure that all guests enjoy a relaxing salon experience, it was created with your child’s safety in mind. We understand how challenging it is finding time to spend for yourself. We also understand that your “Me Time” does not always align with your hair appointments. However, our policy strictly prohibits unsupervised children in the salon. In the event you must bring a young child into the salon, please provide proper supervision for them in the form of an additional caretaker. Unfortunately the salon cannot provide childcare services. Our salon is not child-proof. Sharp instruments, hot styling tools, chemicals and a busy, congested area make for a potentially dangerous environment for young children. Altered Images stylists and staff are dedicated to providing each of our guests with the highest level of services possible.
